I’ve been in recruiting for 23 years (my headshot is slightly airbrushed, and I have a talented colorist). I got my first job in talent acquisition while fleeing the practice of law, when I was hired to recruit for a search firm that specialized in temporary legal staffing and contingency search. From there, I moved into retained search at Heidrick & Struggles, in-house recruitment at Lehman Brothers and capital markets recruiting at Credit Suisse. I also ran Talent Acquisition for Experian Marketing Services before joining OppenheimerFunds in 2014. I support our Distribution and Legal organizations, but I have also filled roles in Compliance, Finance, Risk, Human Resources and Investments. I’m always learning and never bored.

I began my recruiting career at Randstad, a staffing agency, where I was both a sales agent and recruiter, followed by six years in corporate recruiting at Aimco. This is where I really fell in love with recruiting and discovered my passion for solving staffing issues and hiring the best talent. I’ve been doing IT recruiting for seven wonderful years in places from San Francisco to Denver and Seattle. First, I worked with emerging startups in the San Francisco Bay area, hiring for numerous teams such as Snapchat, Yelp, Ebay and BOX. Next, I worked for a small shop that was third-party to many of these talented teams. Then, I moved to Denver in 2013 and began placing technical talent for some of Denver’s finest teams. Finally, I found OppenheimerFunds and have now been assisting the team in placing talent to support the growth of our IT teams.
